Professional Background & Classroom Leadership

My connection to public education isn’t theoretical. I am the mother of two Princeton ISD students and a public-school educator with approximately a decade of experience serving children and families.

School board decisions belong in classrooms—not just boardrooms.

Charlotte Wilson

The Princeton ISD Connection

I have worked directly in classrooms, served as Special Education Department Chair, led Pre-K teams, and advocated for children with diverse learning needs.

Experience in Special Education & Early Education

That experience gives me a perspective that reaches beyond a boardroom. I understand what district decisions look like when they reach a classroom.

A Parent's Voice

And I understand that behind every data point is a child whose education cannot be put on hold while adults debate what went wrong.

Approach to Service: Results Over Rhetoric

Charlotte believes school board leadership should be informed by today’s classrooms—not yesterday’s assumptions. Her service is guided by a simple, evidence-driven standard: putting student outcomes first, supporting teachers, ensuring fiscal transparency, and asking the vital question before every vote:

Will this help students learn?
